Marta Kappl is a dynamic entrepreneur and writer, with a wealth of experience in founding and operating multiple businesses throughout northern California. She has an impressive background in both the public and private sectors, having worked as a social service director and drug and alcohol counselor before transitioning to the fashion industry. As a fashion designer and style consultant, Marta created couture for men and women, serving both private clients and corporations. Born in Weiden, Germany, Marta has studied at top institutions including the University of Texas, FIDM, The Fashion Institute in San Francisco, and UC Berkeley Extension, where she focused on marketing. Currently residing in Irvine, CA, Marta is channeling her entrepreneurial spirit into writing her memoir.


Caitlyn Alario

Caitlyn Alario is a Teaching Fellow and doctoral student in English with a concentration in creative writing at the University of North Texas. In addition to writing poetry and personal essays, she works as a writing assistant and ghostwriter, using her skill and knowledge of the written word to help others tell their stories. 

As a Teaching Fellow at UNT, she teaches First Year Writing while also pursuing a Ph.D. She received an MFA in writing from Sarah Lawrence College, where she worked as a Graduate Writing Mentor in the Sarah Lawrence College Writing Lab. She has a BA in Classics and Humanities at Valparaiso University, where she worked as a Latin tutor, Writing Center Consultant, and Public Relations Intern. In 2017, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest academic honors society in the United States.
